hmmmmm.... i am a little perplexed....
In 1995 SJP wore this McQueen dress to the Met gala accompanied by the designer... It was a giant win for the fairly new designer and 16 years on I still remember this image. It was iconic. This years Met Gala was held in honour of the deceased designer and i just feel a little blergh about what SJP wore. Now it is an archived McQueen number.. and its very beautiful and classic and age appropriate.. But I guess I expected a little bit more.... Its stunning, the beadwork is immaculate... But safe... For someone who is known for taking risks I just find this.. perplexing..
